One small step......
A friend called me in May 2009 and asked if I would like to do a skydive with her, raising money for ‘Help for Heroes'. I was busy at work and said ‘yes' without really thinking about it in any detail. A skydive had always been on my list of things to do, but looking out of an aeroplane door at 15,000ft I don't mind admitting I was having second thoughts!
The nerves had been building up for days prior to arriving at Dunkerswell but the jump itself is over very quickly, 7 minutes from start to finish with a minute of that being in freefall.
The experience has to be one of the most terrifying and exciting things I have ever done, raising over £500 for charity just added to the euphoria of the day.
