The Customer Services Advisor will deliver exceptional customer service in the contact centre and will deal primarily with inbound telephone calls. Handling on average 30 inbound customer calls a day whilst using the bespoke computer software.
A variety of calls can be received from customers. Each requires exceptional care and attention to detail ensuring compliance with the firm and industry regulatory status.
There will occasionally be some general office duties such as preparing daily post and processing applications.
The role does not require any cold calling. Call scripts are used throughout the business and listening skills are paramount.
Main Tasks
Answer inbound calls promptly and deal courteously with callers, routing them as appropriate, or undertake the request to provide quotations for new business. Deal with amendments to existing policies or previously issued quotes, provide appropriate and prompt customer advice or documentation where required.
Receive incoming mail consisting of application forms and payments requiring accurate data input onto the administration system, generate appropriate documentation accurately and despatch by post and/or email.
Make outbound follow up calls upon request from clients where quotes have previously been provided.
Accurately update the computer system and produce documents when quotes are requested or accepted.
The successful applicant:-
- will have call centre/customer service experience, a polite and professional telephone manner and be committed to providing outstanding customer service at all times. Must be IT literate and able to work with a high level of accuracy at all times. Must be comfortable working in a regulated industry and within set procedures.
