PHP Web Developer
Due to expansion my client is looking for a new PHP Web Developer to join their talented development team. The ideal candidate
will have an excellent understanding of the web development process, a good eye for design and experience developing open source content management systems, preferably within an agency environment.
They are a growing agency delivering creative services
including advertising, graphic design for print, web design, multimedia and new media.
They work with some very exciting brands and so you can be assured of working on some interesting projects!
They are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled PHP web developer - you should be a creative thinker and possess excellent communication skills. You should be a fast learner that is able to adapt and pick up new techniques and technology quickly. It is essential that you
take pride in your work and are thorough and precise in all that you do. You should thrive under the pressure of tight deadlines and be able to work just as effectively on your own as you do as part of a team.
Your skills will include the following:

• Excellent technical knowledge of a range of technologies, frameworks and techniques including PHP, XHTML, CSS, XML and JavaScript/jQuery
• Experience in handcoding PHP 5 and MySQL 5
• Use of Photoshop for web graphics, including cropping and optimization
• Ability to work to W3C web standards and Accessibility guidelines
• Understanding of WordPress development, HTML emails and SEO
• Ability to interpret written business requirements and technical specification document
• Knowledge of various email clients including OS and web based clients
• Experience of other Adobe Creative Suite programs
• Agency experience an advantage
• Experience in mobile application development preferred but not essential
• Knowledge of Flash and Actionscript is also desirable
